Hayward Control Panel Assembly (IDXCPA1100) The main user interface and control center for the Hayward H100ID series pool heaters. It allows you to power on/off the heater, adjust temperature settings, and monitor system status.

• Power and Functionality:
• The control panel connects to the heater’s electronic ignition system and thermostat, controlling the temperature and operation of the unit.
• It includes wiring and circuit components that interpret user inputs and send signals to the gas valve and burner system.
• Temperature Adjustment:
• The control panel regulates water temperature by controlling when the heater ignites and shuts off.
• When the desired temperature is reached, it stops heating until the water cools down again.
• Ignition Control:
•  The control panel initiates the ignition sequence.
• It triggers a signal to the gas valve to release fuel and the igniter to spark, lighting the burner.
• Error Monitoring & Safety Features:
• If there is an issue, such as low gas pressure, flame failure, or overheating, the control panel detects the problem and may shut down the heater to prevent damage.
• Some models have LED indicators or a diagnostic system to display error codes for troubleshooting.
