The Hayward 2″ Coupling (IDXCPG1931) connector between the heater and the pool plumbing system, ensures a secure and leak-free attachment of 2-inch pipes. It is commonly used in Hayward H-Series Above Ground Induced Draft Heaters (e.g., H100ID1 and H100IDP1).

How It Works:

• Connection Between Heater & Plumbing:
• The female-threaded coupling screws onto the heater’s inlet and outlet ports.
• A 2-inch PVC pipe or hose is inserted into the coupling, securing the water flow connection between the pool and the heater.
• Leak Prevention:
• The coupling includes a rubber gasket and grommet to create a watertight seal.
• This helps prevent leaks and maintains proper water pressure within the system.
• Water Circulation Through the Heater:
• Water from the pool pump flows through the coupling into the heater.
• The heater warms the water and sends it back through the coupling to return it to the pool.
• Easy Maintenance & Replacement:
• If the coupling becomes worn, cracked, or loose, it can be unscrewed and replaced without modifying the plumbing system.
