Description
COMBUSTION BLOWER | IDXLBWR1930
The Hayward IDXLBWR1930 Combustion Blower is a component in Hayward H-Series Low NOx Induced Draft Heaters. Its primary function is to provide the necessary airflow for efficient fuel combustion and safely vent combustion gases out of the heater.
- Air Intake & Pre-Purge:
- When the heater is turned on, the combustion blower starts running.
- It pulls fresh air into the combustion chamber and purges any remaining unburnt gases before ignition.
- Assisting Combustion:
- The blower continuously supplies oxygen to the burner, ensuring an efficient and complete fuel burn.
- This process helps maintain proper heater efficiency and prevents soot buildup.
- Exhausting Combustion Gases:
- Once combustion occurs, the blower helps expel exhaust gases (such as carbon dioxide and water vapor) through the venting system.
- This prevents dangerous gas buildup inside the heater.
- Post-Purge & Shutoff:
- After the heater turns off, the blower operates briefly to clear out any remaining gases from the combustion chamber.
- This enhances safety and ensures clean operation for the next heating cycle.
