Description

The ARG ARHCCX Air Relief Valve is built to replace a tired or leaking vent on cartridge or DE filters that originally used a CCX1000V air relief. When these valves age, they stick, seep, or stop venting properly, which leaves air pockets in the tank and makes the system noisy and harder to service. Swapping to a fresh valve restores a clean bleed at the top of the filter so you can purge air on startup and before opening the tank.

Installation is simple: remove the old air relief from the filter’s top port, clean the sealing area, and thread or seat the new valve according to the filter manufacturer’s instructions. Once in place, it becomes part of your normal routine—open to vent, close when the water stream is solid, and the filter can run at full efficiency without trapped air.
