Description

The ARG ARP2734 Air Relief Valve is built to take the place of aging filter vents identified by OEM part number 273564. When air relief valves weather and wear, they get stiff, start seeping around the stem, or stop venting air cleanly. Air pockets trapped in the filter tank make the system noisy, unstable, and less safe to crack open.

Dropping in ARP2734 restores a predictable bleed point at the top of the filter. On startup or after service, you open the valve, purge air until the water stream runs solid, then close it and let the filter run.
