SENSOR-FLOW,FLOAT STYLE | CAX-20206
Hayward Float Style Flow Sensor (CAX-20206) float mechanism monitor water flow in pool and spa systems, particularly with the Hayward CAT Controller.
- Float Mechanism in the Flow Cell: The sensor is to be installed within a flow cell, where a small float moves depending on water flow. When water flows through the system, it pushes the float into position.
- Flow Detection: If the flow is adequate, the float remains in position, signaling that water is moving correctly. If water flow drops below a certain threshold, the float shifts, indicating a lack of flow.
- Signal Transmission to Controller: The float’s position change triggers a response from the sensor, which sends a signal to the connected CAT Controller. This allows the system to alert the user or take action (e.g., stopping chemical dosing) to prevent imbalances or equipment damage.
- Automatic Alerts and Adjustments: detecting flow changes, the sensor helps the CAT Controller to respond, ensuring continuous safe, and efficient pool operations.
