Description

This 1.5″ Black Self-Aligning Aussie Insider Eyeball Fitting is built around the classic CMP/Super-Pro insider pattern. Instead of threading into a wall fitting, it drives directly into 1.5″ PVC to create a directional return with a clean, flush look. The self-aligning design helps it seat straight as you pound it into the line, and the 3/4″ eye opening—plus included snap-in reducers—lets you fine-tune how hard the return pushes water. Installed into clean, square-cut pipe, it provides a tight, long-lasting seal that resists leaks and keeps your circulation pattern under control.

Pro Tip

Before you pound the fitting in, deburr and dry the pipe, then mark your desired eyeball orientation. Use a rubber mallet with a protective block and stop once the shoulder is fully seated. After filling and purging air from the system, tweak the eyeball angle so it helps drive surface debris toward the skimmer instead of dead spots.
